December shut-down

It is quite a jolt  to start receiving retail emails starting to promote Christmas spending.

It however alerted us to the fact that now is the time for us to give clients fair warning that, for the first time since Web Inn took on its first client almost 20 years ago, we will be closing over December. As a result, no development work will be able to be undertaken from 9 December to 3 January. This includes all changes, updates, amendments, etc.

If you have any plans for revamping or updating your website for the new year, please get this through to us soonest so that we can accommodate as many people as possible before we close. As always, time will be allocated to development work on a first-come-first-serve basis, so please don't wait until the end of November to call for website changes that need to be up in early January. Your work may only need a couple of hours to complete, but if 50 people got into the queue before you, even a 1 hour job may be impossible for us to complete in time.

Emergency support will however still be operating during the shut-down period, via especially designated channels of communication. We will not be contactable via our normal contact channels in that time because none of us will be in the country. For your convenience, emergency support contact information for the period of closure will be sent out in the first week of December, plus posted on our website.

Have a fruitful day!

Kind regards
The Web Inn Team
